Miss Mexico Andrea Meza was crowned as Miss Universe 2020 at the beauty pageant which had representation from 73 countries. Miss Brazil Julia Gama was the first runner-up, while Miss Peru Janick Maceta Del Castillo secured the third position. India's Adline Castelino finished at the fourth position. Meza, a software engineer, won the beauty pageant, which was delayed by a year due to Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus) pandemic.
