What Shakti Kapoor Said On Son’s Arrest After Drug Raid: Report
Entertainer Shakti Kapoor’s child, Siddhanth, was captured for purportedly consuming medications during a party at a Bengaluru five-star lodging, the police said today.
Shakti Kapoor was cited by reports as saying: “It’s unrealistic”.
“I can say one thing-it’s unrealistic,” the veteran entertainer told ETimes.
The 69-year-old was cited by News18 as saying: “I’m not mindful of anything. I have recently gotten up from my rest and my telephone has begun ringing ceaselessly. He hasn’t been captured however confined by the police for utilization (of medications). I don’t think there was any belonging. I have as much data as it is turning out in the news and I am truly pained by this news.”
The police followed up on a clue and struck the party at the Park Hotel. Tests of around 35 visitors were tried and five visitors, including Siddhanth Kapoor, tried positive for drugs, authorities said.
Siddhanth Kapoor, 37, was welcomed as a DJ at the party. He is an entertainer and an associate chief.
“A sum of five people have been captured including Siddhanth Kapoor after they tried positive for consuming medications. They have all been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act,” said cop Bheemashankar S Guled.
