Queen Camilla’s Plane Suffered A Bird Strike On Her Return To UK From India
Queen Camilla’s plane has been damaged after it was reportedly hit by a bird. She was flying back from India to the UK on a British Airways flight and the plane is believed to have a large dent in its nose, People Magazine reported.
King Charles’ wife was returning from a holistic health center near Bengaluru. She lived with her friends in the Soukya wellness center. The center is led by Dr. Isaac Mathai and offers wellness and treatment programs. The center offers meditation, homeopathy, yoga, therapy and an ancient traditional system of medicine. The institute focuses on “healing, preventing or rejuvenating”.
The Boeing 777-200ER was flying from Bengaluru to London Heathrow Airport. Buckingham Palace has not commented on the incident.
According to the Times of India, Queen Camilla arrived at Soukya on October 20 with her friends and is flanked by guards from the Royal Protection Unit. The report further states that the royal enjoyed fruit juices and vegetarian continental food during her stay at the center.
People Magazine reported that Queen Camilla has been a regular attendee over the years. Three years ago, she visited Soukya on the occasion of her 71st birthday. The website also released images.
Meanwhile, Charles and Camilla finally married in 2005 after a long-running affair that was at times adulterous.
