An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck Nepal in the early hours of Wednesday. Tremors were also felt in parts of the Delhi-NCR region.
The earthquake struck around 1:57 a.m. Wednesday. The epicenter was Nepal, according to the National Center for Seismology.
This was the third earthquake in Nepal in the last five hours. According to data from the National Center for Seismology, Nepal registered its first earthquake of magnitude 4.9 at 8:52 p.m. on Tuesday, followed by a magnitude of 3.5 at 9:41 p.m. The third earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck the country at 1:57 am on Wednesday, and tremors were felt in Delhi.
