Ukrainian officials say they reclaimed an airport outside Kyiv that had been seized by Russian forces, ABC and Axios report
The Ukrainian Parliament said the Antonov Airport, located outside of Kyiv, is now “fully under the control” of Ukrainian troops, ABC News reports. On Thursday, local officials said Russian helicopters attacked the international airport, and the Interior Ministry later confirmed that Russian troops had seized control of the facility. Airborne troops were filmed on the ground patrolling the perimeter by a CNN reporter.
