In 2008, 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists opened fire and 12 coordinated attacks killed at least 174 people and injured 300 others.

Speaking about the operation as a proper response to Pakistan, he said, “After the Pulwama attack, we retaliated against Pakistan in Balakot using our air power. The message is that if you commit terrorism, you will pay for it.”

According to him, security in India is better now than it was under Manmohan Singh.

“During the time of Manmohan Singh, the biggest threat to our internal security was the violence of the Maoists. It has spread to more than 185 districts in central India. People are also talking about the Red Corridor. The situation is dire. Today, their presence is not limited to 8 districts and that too to a lesser extent,” he said.

“If you look at the issue of violence and concern for national security, you will see that there is a big failure. The elimination of terrorists may not be because of our system has done well, but with the support of the people. People began to reject. the terrorists and support the process to make the situation better.”

Speaking in Kashmir, Governor Ravi said: “There is no tolerance for violence. It may look bad, but anyone who uses a gun should be dealt with with a gun. There is no discussion and anyone speaks against the unity and integrity of the country. There has been no discussion with the army in the last 8 years, not even to surrender. “

“In Jammu and Kashmir they killed thousands of people, then Yasin Malik, a member of the JKLF, will come to Delhi and he will shake hands with the Prime Minister. Hurriyat is the mastermind behind this. In the northeast , the people killed hundreds of people. then we started talking to them asking them to stop the violence, there is no negotiation, there is no negotiation and anyone speaks against the unity and integrity of our country. “There was no question, no acceptance. It took time for the message to sink in. In the last 8 years, there was no dialogue, no dialogue with any military. If it was a dialogue it was only liberation and rehabilitation, without political content,” the governor said.
