Despite the White House warning of “a winter of severe illness and death” due to unvaccinated Americans, first lady Jill Biden recently found the time to welcome a group of singing and dancing nurses from The Northwell Health Nurse Choir into the East Room through the “In Performance at the White House” Christmas event.
In the background of the performance, the first lady can be seen maskless while a majority of the nurses carry out donning the face attire. Biden’s maskless appearance occurred less than a week after the White House’s medical advisors told Americans to “wear a mask at public indoor” settings to avoid overwhelming hospitals with sick COVID-19 patients.
