Leak iPhone 15 Pro CADs Reveal Massive Camera Hump, New Rounded Design
The design of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro has been fully revealed after the CAD models used to build the phone were leaked
And they reveal that Apple is planning some of its most significant design changes in years, including one big shocker
Leaked by 9to5Mac and rendered by 3D designer Ian Zelb, the models show that the iPhone 15 Pro will indeed switch from Lightning to USB-C, be significantly rounder than its thinner-bezeled predecessor, and feature a jaw-dropping rear camera bump
It's this camera bump that will divide iPhone fans. As Zelbo points out, "the iPhone 15 Pro's camera bump is MASSIVE." Leaks claim that Apple is developing larger sensors for its upcoming iPhones, and the move from a dual-layer to a triple-layer camera only confirms it all.
Additionally, the leaker says that this new Curvier design language will also be seen on the standard iPhone 15 models, something that was in doubt after Apple limited the pill-shaped display to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models.

CAD's last big reveal is the move to USB-C. This has been speculated for some time, but by no means certain, as the much-hyped EU rule doesn't come into effect until late 2024
While the CADs only show the iPhone 15 Pro, all these changes should be mirrored by the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Whether the two phones also share Apple’s rumored price increases, remains to be seen.
