The oldest gorilla in captivity celebrated her 65th birthday at the Berlin Zoo this week
On Wednesday, the world’s most seasoned gorilla, Fatou, commended her 65th birthday celebration at a zoo in Germany. While gorillas live 35 to 40 years on a normal, Fatou has figured out how to live practically twofold the normal life expectancy.
The Berlin Zoo shared a video of Fatou praising the unique day with a birthday cake. While sharing the video, the zoo expressed, “Much obliged to our managers for this incredible birthday cake. Fatou enjoyed it! #HappyBirthday #Gorilla #ZooBerlin”.
In the video, one can see Fatou partaking in a cake that has the number 65 composed on it with berries. Christian Aust, who works at the zoo, said, “The foundation of the cake is made of rice, and we utilized quark, vegetables and organic product for the improvement.”
