Stones pelted at Vande Bharat Express in West Bengal, the second incident in 24 hours
Unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the New Jalpaiguri–Howrah Vande Bharat Express on Tuesday. Notably, this is the second such incident within 24 hours. The windows of cars C3 and C6 of the train were found damaged. The incident took place near Phansidewa area of Darjeeling district.
“Windows of coach C3 and C6 of Vande Bharat Express were found damaged due to stone pelting. The windows were found damaged near Phansidewa area of Darjeeling district while the train was moving towards New Jalpaiguri,” news agency quoted Commandant, RPF as saying.
