Following Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s statement on the upcoming ‘Char Dham Yatra’, Chamoli District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana shared few details on the preparation by the district administration.
He said, ‘Officials have been ordered to hold a meeting to evaluate preparations for the ‘Char Dham Yatra’. The Border Roadways Organisation (BRO) has been requested to send machines to clear the roads if the situation arises. Departments will be directed in accordance with the state government’s new standard operating procedure.’
The Char Dham Yatra will begin from September 18.
