Agostinho Rodrigues, 62, faces a charge of sexual assault and a misdemeanor charge, according to a press release from the Orlando Police Department. He was booked into the Orange County Jail and released Sunday on $50,500 bond, jail spokeswoman Christina Grover said.
Rodrigues is leasing space for his practice at 1005 Virginia Drive, the agency said.
“Rodrigues … used his role as a chiropractor to inappropriately touch one of his patients during the past week,” the report said.
Rodrigues did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Rodrigues, a former Edgewater High School football coach, was previously accused of molesting a teenage girl on campus in 2010. During his trial in 2011, a jury acquitted Rodrigues.
“Simple, straight forward, I feel like I’ve got my life back,” Rodrigues said after the not guilty verdict. “And I will continue to be a good member of this community, freely.
