Union minister of state for electronics and technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar inaugurated 3 new National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Centres in the Northeastern States on September 16. Two centres of Aizwal and Imphal were upgraded.
The minister physically inaugurated the NIELIT Centre in Churachandpur, Manipur while the two Centres of Assam were inaugurated virtually.
‘This is a very deep strategic vision of our Prime Minister to ensure that the youth of the Northeast have access to the skills that are most relevant to today’s job market,’ said Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
