Just one day after filing a police complaint against her husband Adil Khan Durrani, Rakhi Sawant fainted and collapsed outside the Oshiwara police station. Adil allegedly hit Rakhi and, according to Rakhi, stole money and jewelery from her flat.
Rakhi was seen unconscious in a video that went viral while she was talking to the paparazzi outside the police station.
Adil Durrani was arrested by the Mumbai police after Rakhi filed an FIR against him. Rakesh Sawant, Rakhi Sawant’s brother, has accused Adil Durrani of attempting to murder the actress. He presented the important accusation to the media on Tuesday. Adil, he claimed, tried to kill Rakhi despite her valiant efforts to protect their marriage.
“Even today he tried to hit her by throwing a glass at her. He wanted to kill Rakhi and even tried to kill her several times. His aim is to take away all the wealth after Rakhi,” Rakesh Sawant stated. He even claimed that Rakhi tolerated them and never let anyone know. According to his words, he learned about it only after the death and burial of his mother.
Wahid Khan, a friend of the actress joined Rakesh and shouted that Rakhi and Adil got married eight months ago but they were still silent about it only because Adil didn’t want to show himself. “Eight months have passed since Rakhi and Adil’s wedding. She hid the wedding. Why? Adil said so,” he replied. He went on to say that Adil assaulted Rakhi even after she announced their marriage.
