Mumbai: Aarti Mittal arrested for allegedly running a prostitution racket in the film industry
The Mumbai police arrested a major prostitution ring in the city and actress Aarti Mittal was accused of being the mastermind.
Aarti was arrested for pushing aspiring models and actresses into prostitution. Two models were rescued from the Goregaon hotel and an investigation has been launched.
Aarti has been a part of several daily soaps and also claims to be a casting director.

According to Aarti on Instagram, Aarti has acted in a number of TV and web shows, her latest being ‘Appnapan – Badalate Rishton Ka Bandhan’ starring Rajshree Thakur and Cezanne Khan.
She also acted in the show ‘Na Umra Ki Seema Ho’.
Aarti, who has over 100K followers on Instagram, also has pictures with several top TV actors. She posted pictures with Hiten Tejwani, Rohit Roy, Manav Gohil, Aman Verma and others.
Not only this, she also played a role in Satish Kaushik’s ‘Karm Yuddh’.
Apart from this, Aarti has also featured in ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’, ‘Dharampatni’, ‘Sanak: Ek Junoon’, among others.
According to reports, Aarti ran a sex racket in the city in which she approached models and forced them into prostitution on the pretext of giving them jobs and money.
The Mumbai police formed a team and posed as customers and asked her to send two girls to a hotel in Goregaon and demanded Rs 60,000 for it.
However, when she arrived at the hotel with the girls, she was caught in the act by the police who were waiting for her.
