Members of a parents’ association found a very different way to make themselves heard.They reached the district education office in Ludhiana and garlanded the district education officer (DEO secondary) with shoes.
This officer named Lakhvir Singh, filed a police complaint alleging he was deceived as some members of a parents’ association came to his office saying that they want to honour him.
The officer while getting clicked and posing for the cameras didn’t realise that after the first three floral garlands, the fourth one had a pair of crocs shoes. It was after a while, and a few more clicks later that he realised that he was being fooled.
