ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Ind vs Scot: India bowl out Scotland for 85 runs on Virat Kohli’s birthday

Scotland set a target of 86 runs for India in match number 37 of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on November 5.

Earlier, India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss on his birthday and elected to field against Kyle Coetzer-led Scotland.

Indian bowlers were right on target from the beginning and they never allowed Scotland batsmen to score freely.

George Munsey 24 runs (19 balls, 4 fours, 1 six) and Michael Leask 21 runs (12 balls, 2 fours, 1 six) were the only two batters to score over 20 runs for Scotland.

India played mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy in place of pacer Shardul Thakur and all the three spinners tightened the screw on Scottish battingh lineup.

Ravindra Jadeja (15/3 off 4 overs) and Mohammed Shami (15/3 off 3 overs) were the pick of Indian bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah (10/2 off 3.4 overs) and Ravichandran Ashwin (29/1 off 4 overs) were the other successful bowlers for India.
