Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam power Pakistan to 10-wicket win over India in the match number 16 of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 24.

Needing 152 runs to win, Pakistan cruised to win in 17.5 overs with 10 wickets in hands.

Rizwan 79 not out (55 balls, 6 fours, 3 sixes) and Azam 68 not out (52 balls, 6 fours, 2 sixes) didn’t give any chance to clueless Indian bowlers. All the Indian bowlers were expensive and they were not able to create chances for their team.

Earlier, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and invited Virat Kohli-led Team India to bat.

Virat Kohli 57 runs (49 balls, 5 fours, 1 six) led from the front after early dismissals of openers Rohit Sharma 0 runs (1 ball), KL Rahul 3 runs (8 balls) and Suryakumar Yadav 11 runs (8 balls, 1 four, 1 six).

India were 31/3 in 5.4 overs mainly due to Shaheen Shah Afridi’s superb opening spell.

Kohli and Rishabh Pant put on 53 runs in 40 balls for the fourth wicket.

India could not make use of last overs as Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya failed to provide momentum. India ended up with 151/7 in 20 overs.

Shaheen Shah Afridi (31/3 off 4 overs), Hasan Ali (44/2 off 4 overs), Shadab Khan (22/1 off 4 overs) and Haris Rauf (25/1 off 4 overs) were the wicket-takers for Pakistan.
