Delhi police have registered an FIR against Dasna Devi temple’s head priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati for hate speech.
Taking cognisance of a video in which Narsinghanand can be seen using offensive language against Prophet Muhammad at an event in the Press Club, Delhi Police registered an FIR at Parliament Street police station under sections 153-A and 295-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
Earlier today, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan called for action against Narsinghanand.
