Candace Cameron Bure reacts to JoJo Siwa saying she is the “rudest celebrity.”
Bure responded to Siwa calling her “the most famous person I’ve ever met” in a viral TikTok earlier this week, explaining in a video she shared on Instagram on Tuesday that she and the YouTuber had a “big deal” with the insult. Although Siwa did not give any details about Bure on her TikTok, the full house star shared that the incident happened during the Fuller House program in 2016, when Siwa was only 11 years old.
“I want to talk about JoJo’s situation,” Bure said in her video. “I was surprised when I saw TikTok on Sunday, I don’t know where it came from. I immediately tried to contact him through my friends, my publicist went to his manager, and I called him because I don’t know what happened. So I finally got to talk to JoJo this morning. I called him and we talked a lot.”
Siwa didn’t expect her “stupid TikTok act” to be successful, Bure said, adding, “Of course she didn’t want to tell me because she said it was stupid, ‘she was sad, and she was. did not. t a big But then he said, ‘I met you at the Fuller House premiere when I was 11, and we were all on the red carpet. I came up to you and said, ‘Can I get a picture ?’ And you said, ‘Not now. I’m doing what you’re doing and taking pictures with other people on the red carpet.'”
The dancer reportedly told Bure, “You’re not even wrong! But I understand now, as an adult, when you’re on the red carpet and everything happens and you’re drawn to ‘different parts. different. But at that time, I was eleven years old.”
Bure said in her video, “I kind of broke your 11-year-old heart. I didn’t take a picture with you! I’m so disappointed. JoJo, I’m so sorry!”
While Siwa said it was not a big deal, Bure replied, “Know that as a mother it breaks my heart that I made you feel this way, and I feel sorry for your mother for doing this to her daughter .”
It’s “all good on JoJo’s face” now, Bure concluded. “We’re both positive and encouraging people, and I told JoJo that I’ve always admired her because she’s a great role model because of her positivity in her life and career. .falling asleep, and it’s a comfort show for him, so we get all the feels. All is well. There’s no drama.”
In her TikTok video, Siwa also featured Miley Cyrus as the most beautiful celebrity she has met and Zendaya as her celebrity crush. He also jokingly hailed SpongeBob SquarePants as “the celebrity who wronged me,” which seemed to refer to the star’s rocky relationship with Nickelodeon, the home of stage frying.
