Bihar: A video shared on Twitter by journalist Prakash Kumar has shown students cheating and copying in Bihar Board exams. They were caught red-handed when footage showed candidates at Sant Kabir College in Samastipur, Bihar indulging in malpractices from their examination hall.
Relatives and friends of the students were seen helping the candidates by encouraging answers from outside. Cell phones were seen being used during the copying process. The footage, which has gone viral, shows many people standing right by the railings of the exam hall helping students with answers.
Such cases of copying and indulging in malpractices during examinations are nothing new to Bihar. The state was allegedly in bad light due to poor educational code of conduct during examinations and subsequent cases of mass copying.
In 2015, similar visuals were reported from exam centers. The pictures attached below reflect the shocking reality in the educational institutions of Bihar. During the March 2015 exams in the state, family members and friends were filmed climbing the walls of Vidya Niketan School in Mahnar village, 60 km from Patna, to hand over chits to candidates appearing for the SSC exams.
